The aim of the workshop on NANOCARBON COMPOSITES’2012 is to gather scientists and engineers who work in different technological fields of carbon based composites to share the latest developments. Since the discussion of the applications of these materials is one of the main topics of the conference, it is hoped that the evolution, properties and current problems for their transfer into the industrial sector will be addressed. For this reason, the goal of the workshop is to focus all the efforts in the nanotechnology implementation to the industry, improving properties, widening the current applications, and solving problems.
The scientific programme will include oral presentations by reputed academic and industrial researchers, posters, and one-to-one sessions, with the objective to approach nanotechnology advances to industrial sector. The selected presentations will show the most recent developments related to carbon nanotubes, carbon nanofibers, graphene, and nanographite materials, applied to industrial sectors as construction, aerospace, automotive, and electronics.
